- WHY I SIGNED-UP TO BECOME A MEMBER OF IktusNETwork?
- I've been keeping an eye on Iktus for quite a while. I'm a big fan of allowing God's truth to cut through the religious fog that blinds most Christians today.
- ABOUT ME, MY ASPIRATIONS, etc...
- Wife of 33 years, Mother of 3 with 4 grandchildren
To my surprise, God has given me 2 little books to write this year. Talk about walking down new roads!
- THE DREAM FOR MY LIFE or THE PLAN GOD HAS FOR MY LIFE...
- God has laid a burden on my heart for those older Christians who have been believing God for His promises for so long that they have gotten weary. Many of them are burned out, bummed out, hurting and/or have dropped out of church altogether. He has shown me that unless they reconnect with the H.S. and activate their faith, they will be like the people who left Egypt and miss entering their Promised Land.

- I totally and completely believe that God is Love. It colors how I read the Bible and how I talk to other people.
I also believe that God is Sovereign. There is nothing and no one who can usurp His power. Nothing takes Him by surprise. Having to send Jesus because of Adam and Eve was not plan B. He sees the end from the beginning and all that was created owes its existence to Him. I am His because He chose to adopt me and place me into His household. Because of that, He is my Father and I love Him and am very, very proud of Him. I look forward to the day I receive a redeemed body that can physically stand before His throne.

I don't know exactly what it will entail but if the preseason training videos are any indication, I am in for a crash internet marketing experience. It will definitely be interesting. I am thanking God for the wonderful people I am meeting and for those who are willing to share their expertise with those of us who are new to it all. He is good!

I never thought I would be saying this but I joined Twitter and I find that I like it. To understand Twitter, you have to understand a little about how Google works. Apparently the search engine likes sites that update a lot (are fresh) and have links to other sites. Twitter fits the bill on both accounts. It is set up to let friends have a bird's eye view of what you are doing. Computers
This is going to make me sound old but I guess if the shoe fits... :-) As I was growing up, I remember my Father mentioning computers and I knew that NASA used them but they were room sized units and who could afford that? The SCI-FI people talked about robots and such but that was future, right?
When I went to college the counselor put me into philosophy as an elective. What a waste that was for me. I didn't even know they had a computer department until one day I saw a guy drop a bunch of car… Continue

Squidoo Thoughts
When I first stated making lenses (pages) on Squidoo, I felt like a first time dog in water. I really didn't know whether to sink or swim. The first thing I noticed was that there was not a Christian or religion category to list pages under. I later found someone who had a page speaking to that. They basically said that they could request such a classification but the general consensus was that the mix would be saltier if we simply found places within the other categories. Brilliant!

Web 2.0
I'm finding out that there is a side to the Internet that I haven't understood. I thought things like MySpace and Facebook were just places people could make neat pages. My kids had pages but I felt funny having one with all the kids. Now I am finding that the social aspect of the Internet has exploded and is changing everything from finding friends to even how things are marketed.

I never thought I would get connected with other Christians this way. I was just commenting to my husband (of 27 years) the other day about finding Christians who are "on the same page" I can't write too much now, but I look forward to getting to know you.
